Nightmare on Elm Street - Johnny Depp Blood Geyser
For the famous blood geyser scene, the film makers shot the sequence by turning the entire room upside-down on a gyro set and attaching the camera so that it looked like the room was right side up, then they poured gallons of red water into the room. (The normal movie blood wasn't able to create the right effect for the geyser.)
The spinning room turned incorrectly and caused a premature flood of "blood." According to the DVD commentary, the people pouring the "blood" were shocked when the wires were hit with the water and the room began to spin out of control. Wes Craven remarks that it was like the Ferris Wheel from hell. The power on the set went out and Craven said they were all in the dark and covered in blood.
Depp also makes a cameo in Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare

Bonnie and Clyde - Death Scene
According to Warren Beatty in the Special Addition DVD documentary, in the death scene, the make up department fixed a fake scalp over his real hair with a line so that while he was being shot, it would look like his head was being blown off. Beatty says that partially the reason why he had the fruit in his hand was that the moment he squeezed the fruit was supposed to signal the make up artist to pull the line and rip the scalp off. However, when the scene was being filmed, the artist was so nervous that he forgot to pull the line.
In reality, Bonnie and Clyde were ambushed just outside Gibland, Louisiana, on May 23, 1934. They did not get out of their car, which was raked by 187 shells. Clyde had been driving in his socks, and Bonnie had a sandwich in her mouth.

Dark Knight - The Joker's Pencil Trick
The Joker shows us his famous pencil trick, let's see David Blaine or Criss Angel do that shit.
I know this isn't a movie death, but while we're on the subject of the Joker here's a sneak preview of his fatality from the new Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe game

Shogun Assassin - Greatest last words ever
For those of you who have never seen Shogun Assassin, drive to the nearest MovieStop and buy it, right now. I don't care what you have to do, just buy it. It is the greatest and most violent Samurai movie not associated with Akira Kurosawa. Ogami Itto will go down as the biggest badass ever. The films are renowned for the incredible amount of onscreen stylized violence. In fact, after the second film, each movie would climax with Ogami slaughtering an entire army single-handedly. In the film White Heaven in Hell, Ogami IttÅ kills a total of 150 people on screen, the highest body count for a single character in a single film in cinema history. In this scene, Ogami takes on the Masters of Death with bloody results and the greatest final words in film history.

Evil Ed - "REST IN PIECES MUTHAFUCKA"
This is one of my fave scenes from the film Evil Ed(an obvious ode to Evil Dead), a low-grade Swedish horror film made in 1997. The movie is about a film editor who goes insane after he edited, and saw one too many bloody movies.

The Edge - Bear Attack
With such classic lines as "today I'm gonna kill the motherfucker" and "what one man can do, another can do," The Edge is one of the most overlooked survival films ever. The movie awkwardly balances long stretches of dialogue and wilderness survival battles with great success. In this scene, Bart the bear-in his greatest performance-attacks Harold Perrinau's character with a bloody vengeance.

Starship Troopers - Medic!
Breckinridge gets shot in the face, then Rico yells out "medic!" Let's face it, the script definitely isn't the reason people like Starship Troopers. It's the patented Paul Verhoeven over-the-top violence.

Korean movies for the WIN
I'm addicted to Korean movies....Korea has done a great job in the film industry for a long time, but in 1996 a new generation of directors began to take over.
The average American audience is used to linear plots and closure when watching movies. Korean films say "fuck that." In this scene from Shiri, an antagonist is cornered with no place to go. So she decides to goes out with a bang. Welcome to the world of Korean cinema.
If you really want to explore Korean movies more, here are some of my personal favorites...
Martial Arts/Sci-fi :
- Arahan (Awesome fight sequences with a Matrix flavor)
- Volcano High (The story is crap but the martial arts sequences are classic)
- City of Violence (Awesome action movie a la Warriors)
- Natural City - (Great Sci-fi film)
Action/War/Period :
- TaeGukGi (One of the best War movies ever, period, some believe it's better than Savings Private Ryan)
- Joint Security Area (From Chan-wook Park, learn the name)
- Silmido (Based on historical event in South/North Korea)
- Shiri (Just watch the clip)
- Friend (A tale of friendship, gangster movie at its best)
- Musa (Period realistic martial arts tale)
- Fighters in the Wind (A real story about Mas Oyama, founder of Kyokushinkan Karate)
Drama/Comedy :
- The Classic (Son Ye Jin is just awesome here)
- My Tutor Friend (Korean romantic comedy....with action)
- Sex is Zero (Korean version of American Pie, hilarious)
- Failan (Great cinematography, superb ending)
- My Sassy Girl (The most famous Korean Romantic Comedy movie)
- Untold Scandal (Korean version of Les Liaisons Dangereuses set in the ancient time)
- No.3 (Funny gangster film)
- Crying Fist (Hardcore boxing drama with Min-sik Choi, greatest Korean actor ever)
- I'm a Cyborg, but that's OK (The Korean One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest)
- Attack the Gas Station! (A true breath of fresh air)
Horror/Suspense/Thriller :
- The Tale of Two Sisters (Amazing psychological thriller)
- Memories of Murder (One of the best murder mystery movies ever)
- Tell Me Something (A more hardcore version of Seven, Silence of the Lamb, etc)
- Scarlet Letter (The last movie by Lee Eun Joo before she committed suicide, rumor said it's because of this movie, the last 20 minutes is like you've never seen before, very disturbing)
- Oldboy (Greatest movie ever)
- Sympathy for Mr Vengeance (From the same director of Oldboy, 'nuff said)
- Lady Vengeance (The final chapter of Chan-wook Park's vengeance trilogy

Izo - Bob Sapp gets sliced
Ahhh, Takashi Miike. You either like him or hate him, much like his 2004 movie Izo. Takashi doesn't use CGI a lot, but when he does it's usually for comedic purposes(the CG is never really good either). In this scene, Izo goes head to head with Bob Sapp.
