King Kong Lives - King Kong Eats

Scene from the not-so-popular 1986 film King Kong Lives. I don't know why it wasn't as popular as the classic?(Well maybe I do, but for the sake of argument just go with me). Maybe it was the plot, King Kong getting a computer-monitored artificial heart IS a little far fetched. Maybe it was the way Kong looked......

Or maybe it was because of scenes like this....

The Blob - Sink Scene

--yeah, he's fucked

Memorable sink scene from the remake version of The Blob. In this scene George Ruit (Clayton Landey) a diner kitchen worker attempts to unclog a sink drain. Sadly for him, the blob grabs him by the head and sucks him down the drain headfirst. I think "owned" just about covers it. *thanks to Jim for the suggestion

C.O.D. - Pulled head first into a sink drain

Victim - George Ruit (Clayton Landey)

Assailant - The Blob

Famous Last Words - "what is this?" --George Ruit

The Frighteners - Dammers' Demise

Directed by Oscar winner Peter Jackson, The Frighteners mixes comedy, thriller, and horror very well. Although it was a Box Office disappointment in 1996, it was a must see just for it's amazing digital effects. Michael J. Fox gives one of his best roles, but Jeffrey Combs(Re-Animator) steals the show.

When Peter Jackson learned during post-production that the MPAA was going to give the movie an R-rating (despite many efforts to go for a PG-13 rating), he made Milton Dammers' death scene more gruesome by blowing up his head instead of just having him shot in the chest and blown through the chapel doors. This caused a lot of problems with the European censors, who cut the one continuous shot into two shots, minus the bullet blowing up the head. The U.S. television version uses the take where Dammers is blown through the chapel doors.

Look for R. Lee Ermey as he spoofs his own role from Full Metal Jacket

Wanted - Reverse Headshot

If it's one thing I love it's a headshot, but a headshot in reverse? That's Epic.

Bonnie and Clyde - Death Scene

According to Warren Beatty in the Special Addition DVD documentary, in the death scene, the make up department fixed a fake scalp over his real hair with a line so that while he was being shot, it would look like his head was being blown off. Beatty says that partially the reason why he had the fruit in his hand was that the moment he squeezed the fruit was supposed to signal the make up artist to pull the line and rip the scalp off. However, when the scene was being filmed, the artist was so nervous that he forgot to pull the line.

In reality, Bonnie and Clyde were ambushed just outside Gibland, Louisiana, on May 23, 1934. They did not get out of their car, which was raked by 187 shells. Clyde had been driving in his socks, and Bonnie had a sandwich in her mouth.
