While the students are receiving their Battle Royale instructions, Fumiyo is caught whispering to Yuko. Well, Kitano doesn't take talking in class too lightly. Kitano throws a knife at her forehead, killing her as her lifeless eyes stare in shock. This is the point when the class realizes that this is for real.
