It seems as if you grew up in the 80's and 90's you might fear a lot of things due to movies: Jaws ruined swimming at the beach, Clowns will never be the same after Stephen King's It, and Hellraiser ruined pretty much everything else. But it was Cujo that made a whole generation fear the St. Bernard, one of the friendliest breed of dogs in the world.

I never even saw CUJO when I was a kid, but my grandma did and she recounted the entire thing to me in lurid detail and it scared the crap out of me forever. My sweet grandma did this to me! She was also the first person to show me the EXORCIST and the OMEN, oh, when I was like eight.
I hate to say it but I havent seen it either. I love Stephen King films though I really need to watch. great post.
Cujo was the first Stephen King movie I saw.
