Die Hard 2: Die Harder - Into the Turbine
As the bad guys are trying to make their escape, John McClane does what he does best, not let them. Major Grant(John Amos) and McClane duke it out on the wing of the escape plane. Major Grant says "too bad McClane, I kinda liked you." McClane gets the upper hand and knocks Major Grant onto the edge of the wing above the turbine. McClane replies, “I’ve got enough friends.” He kicks Grant into the turbine and we see blood splatter all over the side of the plane.

Inglourious Basterds - Bar Shootout
Major Dieter Hellstrom's great death scene in Inglourious Basterds takes place during a shootout in a tavern. When the Mexican standoff erupts, Hugo Stiglitz fires his gun into Hellstrom's crotch before stabbing him in the back of the head repeatedly.

Silent Night, Deadly Night - Death Scenes
Critics condemned the movie, large crowds protested it. Silent Night, Deadly Night was a controversial film of the 80's about a killer dressed as Santa Claus. It has developed a little bit of a following over the years, and why not? It had all the good stuff: Sex, Nudity, and tons of violent(and hilarious I might add) movie deaths....observe

The Terminator - Hunter Killer Tank Owns
---OWNED
Avatar this and Avatar that, no matter what you think of James Cameron's newest $387m blockbuster, we've got to give the guy credit for creating one of the most mind blowing sci-fi/action films of the 80's. No, not Piranha 2: The Spawning, 1984's The Terminator. A machine sent back in time to assassinate the mother of John Connor, leader of the human resistance and wipe him from history. What a premise. This was one of those scenes that brought us into James Cameron's grim post nuclear future. We see resistance fighter Kyle Reese taking on a giant Hunter-Killer Tank by throwing a demolition charge under it's tread. A great scene with a great movie death, as one unlucky resistance fighter gets blasted to pieces when the HK-Tank shoots her with a plasma round as she attempts to throw a demolition charge.

Apocalypse Now - Death of Colonel Walter Kurtz
One of the most emotional and philosophical death scenes in cinema history(Along with the death of Roy Batty). Intercut with a tribe's ritual killing of a caribou, Colonel Kurtz is hacked to death with a machete by Captain Willard as The Doors' "The End" plays in the background. Coppola lays the symbolism on us pretty thick as we see two beasts getting cut down. The ultimate sacrifice,.....the horror.

Hot Fuzz - Death Scenes
Hot Fuzz mixed the perfect blend of comedy, slasher flick, and cop-buddy movie. The over the top violence can get pretty graphic, so graphic it's funny. Similar to the Black Knight in Monty Python's Holy Grail. Another great chapter in the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy.

Pulp Fiction - Vincent Vega's Death
-----Uh Oh...
It seems like every time Vincent Vega goes to the bathroom something bad happens. An armed robbery at the diner while Vincent is in the bathroom. Mia mistakes his heroin for cocaine, snorts it, and overdoses while Vincent is in the bathroom. But it was during a stakeout at Butch’s apartment, that Butch kills Vincent with a Czech M61 submachine gun after Vincent comes out of, you guessed it.....the bathroom.
The real question is....would Butch have killed Vincent if he didn't make the Pop-Tarts?

Ninja Assassin - Opening Scene
There are several entertaining deaths in Ninja Assassin and the opening scene is a showcase for arguably the best ones. In the clip, Hollywood and his friends spill buckets of CGI blood at the hands of the Ozunu Clan. Hardcore 80's Ninja movie fans should be pleased to see the awesome Sho Kosugi play as the leader of the clan. Sho Kosugi is a legend in the Ninja film business, starring in such "classic" films as: Enter the Ninja (1981), Revenge of the Ninja (1983), and Black Eagle (1988).
